United Benefice of Morton and Stonebroom with Shirland

Morton, Stonebroom and Shirland are rural parishes containing several diverse villages in attractive border country just a “stone’s throw” from the Derbyshire Peak District.

The three Church of England parishes are linked together to form a United Benefice, and are a distinct Mission and Ministry Area of Derby Diocese.  The role of Parish Priest for the Benefice is currently vacant.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
